July 18th 2021 - Walk of Words 

From Sunday 18th July you will be able to enjoy our 'Walk of Words' - a reflective walk through the churchyard comprising artwork and verses chosen by local residents. In the afternoon of that day from 2:30 - 5:00 pm we invite you to an art installation directed by Lucy, aptly titled 'We made it through lockdown'. Covid guidelines will still apply, so you will need a mask and please follow our social distancing advice



May 2021 - Annual Church Parish Meeting 26th May 

Please join us for the Annual Church Parish meeting on the 26th May which will be at Hartington Village Hall from 7pm.The meeting is open to everyone who is resident in the Parish and on the church electoral roll. The agenda for the meeting can be found here 


May 2021 - Rogation service Sunday 9th May 

The weather was kind to us this morning for our Rogation Service led by Rev Alan Griggs. It was great to see some new faces and to listen to old friends chatting as we walked round the village. Here are some photos to give you a flavour of the morning.







March 2021 - Recognition for ex- churchwarden Mrs Celia Critchlow

St Giles Church P.C.C. wished to give a gift of a bird bath in recognition of the many years of loving service given to the church by ex- churchwarden  Mrs Celia Critchlow.

Here is Celia with her new bird bath, in just the right place in her lovely garden. Thank you Celia, for all you have done at St Giles Church, we hope you have a happy retirement.
